Rotor Aviation offers you the chance to join the elite world of helicopter pilots. Training for your private pilots license in a professional environment with experienced instructors prepares you for your future flying experience or even a career in the unique world of flying helicopters.

The Private Pilot Certificate course includes:

40hrs of Robinson R-22 flying experience.
30hrs of Dual Flight instruction.
10hrs of Ground instruction.
1 Written test.
1 combined Flight and Oral test.
1 Set of Jeppessen study books.

Prior to starting your training towards your Private Pilots Certificate with rotor aviation we recommend that you visit your local Aviation Medical Examiner and complete the medical examination for either a Student Pilot Medical certificate or a 3rd Class Medical certificate. Having this done prior to starting your training means that you know that you meet the medical criteria prior to investing a lot of money into your flying endeavor

The duration of this course depends on how regularly you fly. Flying on average between 1~1.5hrs per day you should be able to complete the Private Pilot Certificate course in 4 weeks, the record here at rotor aviation is 3 weeks from start to finish. We recommend that you fly as regularly as your schedule allows, this ensures that you are not having to re-learn skills lost during the intervals between your lessons

If you already hold a airplane certificate/rating, you many be able to reduce your course cost if you are able to count your accrued time towards an "Add-on helicopter certificate".
